What’s included in the retreat package and what is the cost?
The retreat includes a range of immersive and interactive experiences to help you reignite your passion for the arts:
Classes are led by professional theater artists and creatives from the Broadway and Chicago theater communities, offering professional instruction in singing, dancing, and acting for individuals of all skill levels.
Talkbacks: Conversations with Broadway and industry professionals where you can ask questions and hear behind-the-scenes stories.
Exclusive Performance Ticket to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre starring Kaitlyn Davis, Jeff Award Winner and Broadway’s Carole King in Beautiful.
Meals: Delicious gourmet meals provided during the retreat.
Champagne Toast: Celebrate your journey with a group toast on the final evening.
Please note: The retreat fee does not include hotel accommodations or alcoholic beverages (outside of the champagne toast). However, we’ve arranged discounted rates at the Marriott Hotel for those who wish to stay.
What if I feel like I am not a natural-born dancer or singer?
No worries at all! At The Broadway Diva Experience everyone is welcome – whether you’ve performed before or never stepped foot in a rehearsal room, the weekend is designed to be a judgement-free zone, where the focus is having fun and learning together.
We’ll guide you through an easy-to-follow cardio warm up, then teach you a routine step-by-step. And don’t worry, we always dance as a group with an instructor up front, so no solo performances to worry about.
Remember, it’s not about perfection – it’s about letting loose, embracing the joy of movement, and feeling a part of a supportive community.

How do I book my hotel stay?
Hotel Accommodations: To enhance your experience further and never step outside the resort, book your hotel stay at the beautiful Marriott Lincolnshire Resort. The hotel includes luxury accommodations, indoor pool, multiple restaurants and bars, spa and gym. While staying on resort property, there is never any need to step out into whatever weather awaits us outside the door.

What is your refund policy?
Cancel up to 30 days before the event by emailing info@sheinspiresproductions.com to be eligible for a full refund minus the transaction fees. Cancellations up to 14 days prior to the event will be eligible to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after Friday, February 7, 2025 will not be eligible for a refund. Please allow up to 14 business days for refunds to be processed.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I can’t attend?
Yes, you can transfer your registration to another person if you’re unable to attend. Please contact us at least 14 days before the retreat to ensure we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I give this retreat as a gift?
Absolutely. Please enter your own contact information and check the “this registration is a gift” option when registering, and we will contact you to finalize the details.
Do I need prior performing experience to attend?
Not at all! The Broadway Diva Experience is designed for women of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to singing, dancing, or acting, you’ll find classes tailored to your needs. Our instructors are experts at working with participants of all abilities.
What should I bring to the Experience?
To make the most of your experience, we recommend bringing the following:
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement (for dance and acting classes).
Gym shoes: Comfortable, supportive shoes are important, especially for dance and movement sessions. If you have rubber-soled dance shoes, feel free to bring those, but they’re not mandatory.
Yoga mat: Some sessions may involve stretching or light physical activity. If you have a yoga mat, bring it along!
Notebook and pen: You’ll want to take notes during the workshops and talkbacks.
And, of course, bring an open mind, ready to learn and have fun!.
How do I register for the Experience?
You can easily register for the retreat by visiting our official registration page (click the “register” button). Once there, you’ll fill out your details, choose any add-ons, and submit your payment. Upon completion, you’ll receive a confirmation email with further information.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is not included in the retreat package. You will be responsible for arranging your own travel to and from the retreat. However, we will provide you with information about nearby transportation options, including airports, train stations, and rideshare services.
What is the schedule for the weekend?
The retreat runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. You’ll receive a detailed itinerary closer to the event, but here’s a general breakdown:
Friday: Welcome reception, introductory sessions, and a talkback with an industry professional.
Saturday: Full day of classes (singing, dancing, acting), followed by the evening performance.
Sunday: More workshops, a farewell brunch, and the champagne toast.
Times and schedules are subject to slight changes, but we’ll keep you updated!
Can I drink alcohol at the retreat?
The retreat includes a celebratory champagne toast on the final day, but any additional alcoholic beverages are not covered in the retreat package. The venue will have a cash bar available during certain events for those who wish to purchase drinks.
